Trends Gazelle is awarded based on growth figures: growth in added value, growth in personnel, and growth in cash flow.What started small and local has grown into the most award-winning escape rooms in Belgium, attracting international players to Mechelen.

Best of Morty Award - Morty - 2025
We’re doing it again.
For the third year in a row, we’re kicking off January with a Morty Award — an international recognition from the Morty community, which tracks more than 50,000 escape rooms worldwide.
Once again, we’ve managed to secure a spot on the top list with two of our experiences.
According to Morty, our rooms stand out thanks to their imaginative interactions, deep immersion in unique worlds, and outstanding customer service.
The fact that both ‘De wraak van Han’ and ‘Het geheim van Sint-Rumoldus’ receive this recognition makes us incredibly proud.

Top Room - TERPECA - 2025
TERPECA is the most prestigious global competition for the best escape rooms in the world. TERPECA stands for ‘Top Escape Rooms Project Enthusiasts Choice Award’, and you can take that literally. To nominate escape rooms, you need to have played at least 200 escape rooms worldwide, and to vote, you need to have experienced at least 100 escape rooms. In 2025, more than 1,700 enthusiasts voted to determine which 100 escape rooms belong to the absolute world top. ‘The Revenge of Han’ from De Gouden Kooi ranks 30th, winning the ‘Top Room’ award.

In 2025, more than 1,700 enthusiasts voted to determine which 100 escape rooms belong to the absolute world top. ‘The Secret of Saint Rumoldus’ from De Gouden Kooi won the ‘Finalist’ award.

Travellers' Choice -Tripadvisor - 2024
Every year around this time, the excitement starts to build at De Gouden Kooi. During the summer months, Tripadvisor announces which attractions worldwide rank among the top 10% on their platform — an honor based on visitor reviews, and one we look forward to with pride.
And this year, we're celebrating once again. For the 8th time, we’ve received this coveted award. And for the first time, our Escape Walk experience has also made the list!
